TERAVIL, started in 2006, is a spin-off company from Optoelectronics Department of the Center for Physical Sciences and Technology (FTMC).
TERAVIL main business activity is in the time domain terahertz systems market. TERAVIL is a manufacturer of photoconductive, THz range detectors, emitters and THz timedomain systems for spectroscopy and imaging. It is also building other components (preamplifiers, bias sources, registration hardware and software) required to build the complete THz spectroscopy system. TERAVIL sell complete THz-TDS systems worldwide.

Dr. Andzej Urbanovic (TERVIL node PI), PhD in physics, Senior researcher. He has over 20 years expertise in investigating ultrafast phenomena in semiconductors, terahertz radiation generation and detection, terahertz spectroscopy and terahertz system engineering.

Key Research Facilities, Infrastructure and Equipment
Development and investigations of photoconductive antennas. In our laboratory we have terahertz time domain spectrometer “T-Spec” and fiber coupled terahertz time domain spectrometer “T-Fiber”.
