Monozukuri is an Italian joint-stock company founded in 2014, born as an innovative start-up with a high technological content. Monozukuri’s mission is to overcome the challenges of 2.5D and 3D design for the latest generation of electronic products, providing innovative and revolutionary EDA software solutions and methodologies.

The applied technology was developed within the European project Horizon 2020 under the name of HIPER. HIPER redefined the co-design of heterogeneous microelectronic systems by providing an optimized level of automation of threedimensional interconnections. Monozukuri has the technical expertise for developing new technology, from scratch, to deal with the I/O planning, and optimization phase of the physical implementation of complex 2.5D and 3D integrated circuits. The team totals 50+ years of working experience at leading semiconductor and EDA companies, where it has given birth to multiple generation of IC and package co-design tools, methodologies, and flows.

Monozukuri has a proprietary tool (GENIO) to support the ASIC and SOC (System On Chip) design. The tool is used for 2, 2.5 and 3D integrated circuits with very high level of complexity and connections (over tent of thousand).solution business model.
